A little about the group...

FTMAA is a group of people of many gender identities and expressions in Ann Arbor (and thereabouts).

Everyone who identifies as FTM, transmasculine, genderqueer, trans, butch, or gender variant is totally welcome (and other identities, too!). Folks who are questioning their gender are also more than welcome. Significant others, family, friends, and allies (SOFFAa) are welcome to join our SOFFAs list.

We've been around since March 2009.

While there have been tons of awesome trans folks doing awesome things in Southeast Michigan for decades and decades, this group is just getting going. We aim to be a social/support network for trans dudes and other masculine identifying/presenting folks (whatever masculine means to you is a-okay). We communicate through email lists to coordinate stuff, and then meet up in person.

You can bring your whole self to this group.

We welcome people of all ethnicities, races, class backgrounds, body sizes & shapes, abilities, sexual orientations, and every other background, identity, and experience not listed. You don't check any part of yourself at the door!

Sound like fun to you?

Email Anand to get on the email list. Tell me a little bit about yourself (where you're from, what you do in the area) in your email, too, so that we can make sure the list stays safe and free from anybody nefarious.

That's all for now!

If you have any questions or comments or feedback of any kind, please drop Anand a line! We can't wait to meet you!
